Wallace Joiner

Wallace took her first Yoga class in 2002 after the birth of her daughter. She studies regularly with Iyengar certified teachers in both weekly classes and workshops.  Her primary teacher is Jan Campbell.  She is currently pursuing teacher training for Iyengar certification under the guidance of Jan Campbell and Sharon Conroy.   

In addition to the study of asana, Wallace is deeply committed to the study of yogic philosophy.  The connections between mind and body are a source of endless fascination and exploration for her, and she loves sharing this passion with others.

Wallace is originally from Memphis, TN.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Georgia.  Wallace has served on the Board of Yoga Society Nashville for three years and is currently the President.
